
Christopher R Culross, has over 15 years of financial experience in a variety of industries ranging from Construction, Software, Professional Services, Manufacturing, Electronics, and Non-Profit.
In 2002 Chris was brought into the Center for Living & Working as Chief Financial Officer. CLW is a non-profit, independent living agency, serving people with disabilities in central MA. The agency has annual revenues exceeding $25 million. Chris was brought in to transition back all of the accounting and finance operations, which had been outsourced to a professional services firm. Chris’s accomplishments included building from the ground up, a professional accounting department, implementing a world class accounting system, and developed a bottom’s up budgeting system.
Prior to that, Chris spent 13 years managing accounting and finance departments for both public & private companies with annual revenues with run rates ranging from $1 million $2.3 billion. Chris has been directly involved with company-wide system implementations, including PeopleSoft, Great Plains, Timberland, and MAS90.
Chris has held other positions as Controller, Assistant Corporate Controller, and Director of Financial Planning and Analysis in nationally and internationally known private and public companies such as: Glenayre Technologies, Renaissance Worldwide, ACT Manufacturing. He is also a member of the Central Mass Financial Executives Organization, where he serves as treasurer, and is a board member for the Town of Leicester Finance Committee.
Chris earned his undergraduate degree, BS in finance from Northeastern University. He resides in Leicester, MA with his wife and 3 young children
